Every spring, dozens of local employers—from cafés and retail shops to design firms, service providers, and nonprofits—come together for one extraordinary evening. It’s a chance to meet motivated high school students eager to learn, contribute, and grow within their hometown.
What makes HIREDuxbury different? These aren’t your average job seekers. Thanks to DSU’s mentoring and career-readiness programs, students arrive prepared: resumes polished, handshakes practiced, and attitudes ready. They’re the next generation of Duxbury’s workforce—and they’re ready to start now.
It’s efficient, energizing, and rewarding. In 2025, 100% of participating employers said they’d return, and nearly 90% felt confident hiring after meeting students.
