Position: Alden House Museum Guide
The Alden House Historic Site is a National Historic Landmark and the longtime homestead of Mayflower passengers John and Priscilla Alden and generations of their descendants. For more than a century, we have welcomed visitors from around the world to explore this remarkable property through guided tours of the historic Alden House. With the opening of the new J. Alden & Virginia E. Keyser Center for Living History this summer, this is an especially exciting moment as we expand hands‑on, immersive experiences for all ages.
Guide Position (Part-Time, Seasonal)
Alden House Historic Site seeks enthusiastic, reliable, and engaging guides to lead tours and interpret the history and legacy of John and Priscilla Alden and their 400‑year homestead in Duxbury. Guides play a vital role in welcoming visitors, sharing the story of early Plymouth Colony, and helping visitors connect with the people, places, and ideas that shaped early American history.
This is a part-time, seasonal position with a flexible schedule. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy history, and working with people. All training is provided; compensation is minimum wage.
