Job Description:
As a volunteer for the Duxbury Music Festival, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of this annual celebration of music and community. Volunteers will assist with various tasks during the festival, which takes place from June 24 to July 3, 2026, and supports a diverse lineup of talented students and faculty from top music schools across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including arranging seating, setting up equipment, and preparing venues for performances.
- Provide support during concerts by managing seating, distributing programs, and engaging with attendees to enhance their festival experience.
- Help with volunteer coordination, ensuring all roles are filled and volunteers are informed of their responsibilities.
- Participate in outreach and promotional activities to encourage community involvement and attendance.
- Support any additional tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the festival.
- Volunteers can sign up to do as much or as little as they like throughout the festival. This is NOT a two week commitment. The time commitment is what the volunteer would like to make it.
