Are you looking for a fun, rewarding volunteer opportunities where you can make a difference in the lives of kids while gaining valuable work experience? The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield is encouraging energetic, responsible, and outgoing individuals to volunteer for various events.
About the Role:
Volunteers play a critical part in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for kids and families during after-hours. Whether you’re directing a parking lot, dressing up like something scary or an elf from Santa’s workshop, you’ll be an essential part of making sure every family has a great time at the Club!
Volunteer Opportunities:
Haunted Car Wash – Dress up and scare families as they wait in their car to enter the Haunted Car Wash! the event occurs for two nights in October!
Polar Express– Calling all Christmas enthusiasts! Dress up as one of Santa’s elves in the workshop, a gingerbread man, snowman, or even play a musical instrument for the community members! This event is expanding into THE South Shore’s place to be in anticipation for Christmas!
Turkey Trot– Whether you enjoy running, trotting, or walking this event is for you! Volunteers help check participants in, hand out hundreds of pie to participants, and cheer everyone on! Occurring every year at South River Elementary School on the morning of Thanksgiving, this is a great way to interact with the community and even pet a few dogs!
Levitate Music & Arts Festival Parking Volunteer– Do you enjoy festival music? Have you been to Levitate before? Come volunteer with our parking crew for one of the three days Levitate Music & Arts Festival is running. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, primary parking spots as well as a free Festival entry wristband for one of the three days! Shifts are typically 4 hours long.
Throughout each event, volunteers are responsible for:
👀 Ensure a Safe Environment – Monitor spaces, enforce Club rules, and create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
🤝 Be a Positive Role Model – Engage with kids, encourage participation, and help build confidence.
