Position: 18 Event Coordinators for Greet The Summer Fest on June 6, 2026
Help Launch the First-Ever Greet the Summer Fest on June 6th, 2026!
Greet Duxbury is looking for energetic high school students to help bring our first-ever community music festival to life on Saturday, June 6 at Camp Wing. Hundreds of Duxbury residents are expected to attend for an afternoon of live music, food trucks, lawn games, and summer fun on the lawn.
This is a great one-day volunteer opportunity to gain community service hours, meet new people, and be part of a brand-new Duxbury tradition.
18-20 Volunteer Roles (June 6)
Parking Lot Attendants
Direct traffic, guide guests to parking, and help point attendees toward check-in.
Check-In / Wristbands
Assist at the welcome table by distributing wristbands and helping keep entry organized.
Experience Stations
Help run activity stations and assist guests participating in games and experiences.
Crowd Helpers
Move throughout the event, answering questions and helping wherever needed.
Entertainment Support
Assist with stage setup and transitions between bands.
Breakdown Crew
Help with cleanup and packing up materials at the end of the event.
Time Commitment
Most volunteers: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Breakdown crew: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Volunteers receive complimentary tickets to the event, lunch, and community service hours.
About Greet
Greet hosts several community events throughout the year and works with local residents to create content for our monthly publications. Students who enjoy writing, photography, social media, or community storytelling may also have opportunities for future internships, helping gather content from residents.
