Calling students interested in Fashion Design, Sustainability, Retail and Community engagement.
Do you know the Duxbury Thrift and Consignment Shop’s mission is providing scholarships to graduating Duxbury High School students? Students become engaged in sustainability by volunteering at the Duxbury Thrift & Consignment Shop while learning basic retail practices. Students learn about Upcycling, Merchandising and Sales as well as learning our cashier and consignment systems.
The Duxbury Thrift & Consignment Shop gets highly coveted, unique designs, and DHS graduates. ultimately win with scholarships! As a volunteer, you will have first dibs at purchasing a vintage knickknack or designer jeans, which can be repurposed using one of three DSU sewing machines to create your own design! Great role for a DIY, or anyone interested in launching an Etsy store.
