The DSU is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization working with a limited operating budget. We are dependent on the generosity of families and community members to give of their time, talents and treasures. We also enlist an army of hundreds of teens each year, connecting them with leadership, mentoring, tutoring and outreach opportunities, both within DSU and in the wider community. There are over 120 non-profit organizations in Duxbury and DSU is the ideal clearing house connecting teens eager to give their time Learn more about some of the exceptional programs where Duxbury teens have earned service hours.
We also encourage parents and adult residents to join our army of volunteers! Your contribution of time and talents can help provide the best and brightest experience for all Duxbury youth. If you have an idea for spearheading a program or event, or if you are interested in joining our Board of Directors, please contact Sue Bradford sbradford@duxburystudentunion.org and we will gladly support your efforts.
If you are a Duxbury student (private or public school) or resident in grade 8 through adult, visit the Duxbury Student Union website and register as a volunteer while noting your specific areas of interest.
